Build A Bear Wardrobe

So I may have kept this purchase back from my last haul post as I thought it deserved it's own post and also the other one was getting a bit long. When we were shopping in Chester on Friday I was looking at this wardrobe and couldn't decide if it was worth me getting or to make my own wardrobe at home for Lexi-Loo but when I saw it I fell in love with it.
It reminds me of the wardrobe from Beauty & The Beast, I know it's not the same colour but the style is very similar. It is so spacious and comes with 2 little draws and the organiser on the inside of the door for your accessories, as well as the pole to hang your clothes up and shoes fit perfectly underneath.

For £30 this is an absolute steal, I thought it would be so much more expensive. It is easy to assemble as well,I manged to do it all by myself and normally I'm not the best at making things I have to get someone else to do it. So I was really proud of myself.
Because I spent over £75 when I went to Build A Bear I could get 3 £10 gift vouchers for £5 each. So I got all three and then bought the wardrobe so I actually only paid £15 for it :D I came home with a bag full of stuff and a wardrobe for less than £90. Couldn't ask for anymore really!

Lexi's First Trip Out & Build A Bear Haul

I took Lexi out to Chester with us today, she stayed in the car as I haven't yet got the guts to take her out in public. I wish I could but the thought of everyone looking and starring at me makes my anxiety go out of control and the whole point is for her to make me feel better.

She wore her new Troll's dress with her denim jacket and black glittery shoes. Finished off with her lovely silver bow, I couldn't possibly let her go out without her hair done.
The main plan for the day was to go to Build a bear and obviously treat Lexi to lots of new clothes but it turned into more of an accessories shop. I stayed in Build a bear while mum went off to Next as she knew I would be pretty much all day in there trying to decide what to get.
I must have been in their for 45 minutes and walked round the shop 10 times.

I got her 3 new dresses as she has been looking so cute in her dresses the last couple of days. Firstly I chose the Elsa frozen dress which I had been looking at on the website for the last few days, and she needed the clear silver heels to go with it. Then I got her the beautiful purple and pastel coloured dress which has wings on the back and comes with a little wand. Lastly for the dresses I got her the My Little Pony dress. I nearly didn't get it but they had the offer on where if you spent £25 you could get a £10 gift card for £5, so to bump my spend up to get three I quickly picked it up last minute.
Now the exciting part, ACCESSORIES!!! I do love all the cute little accessories. I had to get her some more little hair bows as I just love bows and her hair is so perfect for them. I also picked up a bow headband in white. I nearly got the boots and the outfit to match but decided against it, maybe next time. No little girl is complete without a tiara so I got her the Disney princess one as I am thinking about getting her a Disney dress for Christmas, I just can't decide which one I am going to get her.
I know it's winter now but today was really sunny on the way to Chester and I thought she could have just done with some sunglasses, so I got her some and of course they have a bow on then :D I then clocked the sequin handbag and thought about how she had all these lovely outfits but no handbags so that went straight in my basket. Lastly I got her the cute pink hair dryer that actually works!! Don't get me wrong it doesn't work like an adults hair dryer but I think it probably works the same as a kids one.

I could have bought so much more as I just wanted the whole shop but I had to try and restrain myself. I guess I will just have to go back another day to get the other bits I want :)

About Me

My name is Jodie and I am Lexi-Loo's mum. I brought her home from Build a Bear on Sunday 1st October 2017. I may be 24 years old but I love her so much already. I treat her as if she is a real person and I will carry on doing that forever, she already has more clothes than me and I am still wanting to get her more.
I got her because I suffer with depression and anxiety and I am finding that she is already helping me so much. We all have different ways to cope and she is mine. I have decided to start this blog as I love writing and I want to share with others my struggles and how I cope, plus show off Lexi-Loo and her life with me.
